FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
McKinney, TX - April 7, 2009 (Michael Nicholson PR) - McKinney, TX Resident
Michael Nicholson, racing in only his second season of VDTRA Motorcycle Flat Track
Racing, Won The Modern Open Class at Sundays 100 MPH Waco Half Mile.
After Struggling in Saturday’s Races with the wrong tire set up, and after lots of
Tuning and Adjusting Michael Nicholson put in a flawless race on Sunday, as he
led from Start to finish at the VDTRA Waco National to take his second National
Win in his short Flat Tracking career.
Riding for Nicholson Motorsports, and Jerry’s Triumph, Nicholson plans to make
the next round of VDTRA Championship Races in Little Rock Arkansas in May.
The 31 year old father of two competes in two of the fastest and most competitive
Classes in The VDTRA National flat track Series.
Nicholson seems to do better on the larger tracks and is truly looking forward to
the Magic Mile National in DuQuoin Illinois at the end of June as the VDTRA Nationals
will once again kickoff the week long AMA Grand Nationals in 2009.
The VDTRA Championship series consist of over fifteen
races on oval dirt tracks ranging in size from ¼ Mile to One Mile in Texas, Arkansas,
Kansas, and Illinois.
